It's tough for Australia to set fresh records.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

We're talking about the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, the ones sought by the record chasers, are all that remain for a team that has accomplished all there is.

The fact it required as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase exceeding 300, taking back their record for the biggest in the women's 50-over format, is, in truth, a compliment to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

It's challenging for their batters to possess a record if not provided the chance.

Many contend the argument supporting championship match pressure. Others can counter with the difficulty that comes when facing a record target and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What is certain is this ton was far harder to predict.

The Christchurch carnage in 2022 occurred when she was the highest scorer, but this performance was preceded by six games in India since the start of last month in which she had been unable to reach 30.

"For those following me in the nets, it's been a disappointing period because it seemed I've had no rhythm completely," stated Healy.

"But once you take the field, your fighting spirit take over and you just lock into the competition."

"The possibility to take the field and face the challenge with her and merely enjoy the moment that way, somewhat inspired me," stated Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 deliveries - her fastest at the World Cup - and her ton in 84 balls as she attacked short-pitched balls, scoring 21 fours and three maximums.

Once she was dismissed her side needed 66 more at run per delivery - an achievable target now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm pleased we have the assurance to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, if necessary, we know we can achieve it."

Those words will be the final thing Australia's opponents at this tournament need to hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will win from any position has grown stronger - this victory succeeding win against Pakistan by 107 runs despite struggling at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a match against longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may likely be confirmed.

It was in the semi-finals they left the previous year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - a match Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she led her country for the initial instance at a significant event.

Such is her determination, she subsequently stated she wanted to have participated through the pain.
